The ihtDeeper® catheter is a single-lumen rapid exchange catheter designed to act as an extension of a conventional guide catheter. IhtDeeper® allows the guide catheter to be extended by up to 25 cm, providing stability and enabling the use of auxiliary devices in complex procedures.

IhtDeeper® features a metal-free, painless radiopaque marker at the actual tip of the device, making it easier to position and reducing friction with the artery walls. The catheter body contains sections with varying degrees of hardness and has a hydrophilic coating to improve the device’s navigability. There is a transition zone in sections with a radiopaque marker to facilitate the passage of auxiliary devices.
