Features

Oper film® protect CHG is a dressing that features a transparent hydrogel impregnated with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), designed to cover and protect catheter insertion sites and fix devices to the skin.

Its integrated CHG hydrogel pad helps to reduce skin and catheter colonization rates and also inhibits the proliferation of microorganisms.

Dressing

Transparent, self-adhesive polyurethane film that enables daily monitoring of the skin around the insertion site.

-Adhesive, rounded, reinforced edges made of non-woven fabric.

-Double-sided silicone-coated paper frame with side flaps and pre-cuts.

-Two sterile strips of non-woven fabric to secure catheter extensions.

-A printed non-woven fabric tape to record information about the patient.

-Hypoallergenic, solvent-free adhesive.

-Breathable, allowing for gas exchange.

-Impermeable to water, bacteria and viruses.

Integrated hydrogel

Colorless hydrogel that releases chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), which helps to reduce skin colonization in patients with venous and arterial catheters, providing continuous antimicrobial action during use.

-Optimal visibility of the insertion site.

-It helps to prevent and control infections at the catheter insertion site.

-Gradual release of CHG into the skin.

-No moisture is required to transfer CHG to the skin.
